In this webinar, Dr. María Parra presented YoSoy, a series of books designed for children ages 6-12 that blend cultural and academic content to enrich their oral and written Spanish. Each book includes activities that foster meaningful and creative learning, curiosity, and cultural pride—encouraging children to explore on their own or alongside family members and educators. The YoSoy series can be used at home, in schools, and in cultural centers committed to inclusion, bilingualism, and the holistic development of bilingual children. The webinar was presented in Spanish, but the slides are in English. These materials are in Spanish, but the project, and the materials are an excellent model for people working with any language!
